German Conversation Clubs
For all those who are more interested in getting closer to the German language in a more personal setting or in flexibly refreshing your already acquired language skills, we organize the German Conversation Club GCC between our CBBS GP members and the OVGU GmbH. Here, a small group of CBBS GP members will meet with two German teachers twice a week.
To allow you to participate while working, classes will be held in the late afternoon on the medical campus. These courses, which are free of charge to you, will initially be offered over two semesters, with the usual interruptions during semester breaks (vacation courses can be offered if desired) .
After 2 semesters and with a minimum of 75% participation in the courses, an examination can be taken via the OVGU Language Center in order to have the acquired language skills (A1.2 or A2.2) certified. The (small) examination fees would have to be paid by yourself.
We are aware that these German Conversation Clubs will be very time-consuming and we will do our best to make your participation as pleasant as possible. To appreciate the enormous effort for organizers, teachers and your colleagues, we charge a nominal fee of 50 €, which will of course be refunded upon successful participation (75% of the lessons over two semesters).
The second half of the certified A1.1 and A1.2 course will be continued from April 18th on. Within the first weeks of the course, you have the chance to repeat what you have learned so far. This is to give everyone who has missed a few lessons the opportunity to catch up on the material they have missed. For all others, the lessons serve to consolidate what they have learned.
