Admission to the PhD program involves 4 steps:

 

1^st Online application: personal details and documents (detailed CV including any publications, a motivation statement, two references, as well as your project preference(s)) have to be provided for pre-selection.

Extended Deadline of submissions: September 15^th 2018.

 

2^nd Personal interview (in person in Magdeburg during the recruitment symposium taking place in late October 2018): 30 minutes to present academic background, research experience, motivation and arguments for selecting 3 preferred PhD research projects

3^rd Discussion and final validation with the PhD supervisor 

4^th Administrative registration: PhD students of the RTG2413 are enrolled at the Faculty for Natural Sciences of the OVGU in Magdeburg.
